A company where Design Vision
become reality..
.

The business of Interior Design is an
intimate process where a client's dreams,
wishes and visions intersect the reality of
construction, technology, decorating and
design.

This process requires an experienced,
deft hand to listen to a client, understand
their needs and develop a design plan to
address the many complex factors
involved in bringing a project to fruition.

Kevin J. Maher has the experience and
understands this process. We are a full
service, award winning design firm and
develop the interior architecture as well
as planning the interior design and
decorating work.

A brief background...

I formed Kevin J. Maher Associates in
New York in 1985 after working for the
world famous Interior Designer William
Turner and drafting and sketching
custom furniture designs for pioneer in
the design industry Lorin Marsh and the
legendary French Furniture company --
Auffray and Company.

Over the course of ten years my
company provided services for New
York's Five Star Global partner Garden
City Hotel which included the design of
the Regency Grand Ballroom, Polo Bar &
Grill, Societe and Cotillion Rooms, guest
rooms and the Presidential suite.

Restaurants include lead designer for
Ben's Deli- Restarurant's flagship store
located in Bayside, Queens.

Noted Residential work includes
apartments on Fifth Avenue, Central Park
West, custom homes in Bridgehampton,
Long Island,  New Jersey, Beverly Hills
and Rancho Mirage, CA.

My work has been published in
magazines and books and most notably
used for the Schonbek Chandelier
Company's advertisements which have
appreared in all major home decor
magazines over the years.

Award winning design...

Our work was judged by Architectural Digest for the Schonbek
Chandelier Company's best use of a chandelier in a residential setting.
The winning design is the living room shown below. It is a perfect
example of how I blend architectural detailing, custom furniture and
drapery, lighting, art and accessories to create a classic look.
